Shhhh! was officially born three years ago, as a musical project to explore the boundaries of music creation using modern tools. For years I have helped other artists find their voice, yet my own voice remained silent… the need to find my own became impossible to ignore. The name Shhhh! reflects this paradox of being silently influential.

Shhhh! is rooted in Montreal, where the music scene is very diverse. This melting pot is crucial to the style: resulting in a musical fusion as diverse as its multicultural influence. Shhhh! embraces contradictions: the name itself suggests asking for silence (Shhhh) loudly (!). The avatar, the frontman, is The Shimp (often referred to as "The Shhhhimp"): a man wearing a chimp mask, symbolizing the tension between anonymity and desire for recognition, the human creativity often bound to the performing chimp — silent yet loud, faceless yet in the spotlight.
